Beautiful Karri trees and one made into a fire lookout. I'm stunned that guys used to climb up a tree on metal spikes 50m or so to keep watch for fires and that they did it day after day. The walk to the waterfall was lovely. You can see huge old stumps from loggers from a long time ago. The waterfall wasn't running when we did the walk but the rock that it flows over us pretty impressive in itself. We walked back late afternoon and the sunset colours were dazzling! Heaps of birds and little fungi.
