Decent campsite. Very corrugated road inFar enough from the road not to hear the trucks.Decent facilities too. Just no firewood, so pick some up on the way in.

The scenery in this park reminds me of pictures I have seen of the African Savanna. It is desert, but it is beautiful and definitely has growth! It's amazing taking in all the sights of the park while passing through on the highway. Careful of all the flies if you get out at some point along the way. But overall beautiful views in this park!

Goldfields Woodlands National Park
A huge rock formation in the middle of pretty flat woodlands. The gums are magnificent with trunks that look like they're painted they are so vividly coloured. The Rock had the closest looking things to little velociraptors running everywhere. The kids thought they'd entered Jurassic Park. The dam was lovely for a quick dip. Each camp spot had a picnic table and fire pit. There are two drop toilets. A great little spot for a camp.

Simply incredible beauty stretching every direction as far as the eye can see, inspired by human structures and modifications (save a track here and there). A forest the size of England! Good camping facilities at Peak Charles.

Great place to camp. Great walk up the rock. Place to splash your feet. We had a great time there.

Goldfields Woodlands National Park
Good viewing point from the rock and very different from the surrounding area. Nice walk and for those with minor physical limitations use the ladder on the inlet drain to the dam next to the bridge.
